Fun with Pancakes!

Always have fun with your breakfast! It makes life more interesting and gives you a reason to get out of bed earlier! I am hoping it might be effective at learning names and letters too. Who knows???

Collin likes to pull out the drawer at the bottom and stand on it to see what I am doing. It makes me very nervous! Someday he is going to burn something! But this time, he was just looking to see what to cook up today!


We also had some pancakes that said "#1 Dad" but apparently, they got eaten before I took a picture. I did have to make some plain ole round ones for a member of our family that I won't rat out. Just use your imagination.... ;)

It was bound to happen eventually....

This is my son after he got hold of a pair of scissors that I had put under my leg to keep away from Collin after Byron had gotten them out first. I forgot that I was sitting on them and when I got up, he went to work. Abby did the same thing about 2 years sooner than Byron, but I didn't panic as much this time knowing that for a boy you can just buzz him. I did and it still show a little but if I wait another week I can buzz him again and no one will ever know the difference. This is the before picture...

He was so proud of himself.

Collin had to have a picture too of course...He had been indulging in a chocolate chip cookie.
